When Alan contacted me asking to photograph their surprise proposal in Lisbon right on New Year's eve and told me they were Ireland, I didn't hesitate a second. I have a weakness for Irish clients, because it's always pure fun and I love working with them.

It turned into one of the best memories of my career!

It was challenging to pretend for two hours straight that I was a passenger on a yacht while worrying a bit about the technical part. I had to be in the right spot at the right moment on a shaky boat basically crawling while holding the light in my left hand and the camera in the right one.
But all went well, and considering the conditions and no way to install a proper lighting equipment, I'm happy with the result.

Everyone on the boat got emotional, as Brid said YES with the fireworks in the background, and I just dropped a few tears again while making their slideshow.
